TASER M26c is field-proven with more than nine years in operation. It uses the same TASER cartridges as the TASER X26c and features a five (5) second charge cycle that can be re-applied if necessary. The ADVANCED TASER M26 fires a replaceable TASER cartridge containing compressed nitrogen to deploy two small probes that remain attached to the TASER by insulated conductive wires. The TASER M26 then transmits electrical pulses along the wires, and into the body - affecting the sensory and motor functions of the peripheral nervous system. This energy can penetrate up to two cumulative inches of clothing, or one inch per probe. Uses 8 AA batteries (batteries not included) so you'll never be caught without power!

When an X26C, M26C, or C2 ECD is used in self-defense, the ECDs may be deployed and left behind providing the Purchaser a window of opportunity to get to safety and call law enforcement. TASER International will replace the TASER X26C, M26C, or C2 ECD free of charge, with the same product or a like product, at TASER International’s option, if the Purchaser provides the required information, within one year following the event.
